TOR Bus Stop at Artopee Way Will Move for 2 Weeks

Starting Monday, June 23, Transport of Rockland (TOR) buses in Nyack will pick up and drop off on South Franklin Street instead of Cedar Street during the rebuilding of Artopee Way and the parking lots in Nyack’s business district. The temporary bus stop will be on South Franklin Street between Burd Street and Depew Avenue, one block south of Main Street. TOR buses will not stop at the normal Cedar Street location during construction, which is expected to last about two weeks. Nyack is the terminus for three popular TOR routes: #59, 91 and 92.

On Monday, TOR representatives will be stationed at the Cedar Street bus shelter to guide customers one block west to South Franklin Street. In addition, signs have been posted at the bus shelter and on board TOR buses informing passengers about the change.

For bus schedules and trip planning, call the Rockland Transit Information Center at (845) 364-3333 Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. or visit online at www.rocklandgov.com and click on the bus.

Tappan Zee Express riders in The Nyacks can also get a customized interactive bus schedule at iTZX on NyackNewsAndViews.com.
