Artists Take To The Streets

Early Morning in Nyack on the Hudson River -- Jamie Williams Grossman

Early Morning in Nyack on the Hudson River, by Hudson Valley painter Jamie Williams Grossman, is one of the works created for the Hopper House’s third annual Artist in the Park event last weekend. Artists painted en plein air at Memorial Park and other locations in Nyack. Half of the proceeds from an auction of the finished works benefited the Hopper House.

Thursday through Sunday, it’s the third annual Art Walk in Nyack where merchants and public venues share their space with area artists. Rivertown Film will show “My Kid Could Paint That” to benefit Artwalk on Thursday at 7:30p.
