Where Have All The Shad Fish Gone?

It’s been an annual happening on the Hudson for the last thousand years. The shad run has been a welcome sign of spring since the Lenape Indians lived on the Hudson’s shores. But Riverkeeper’s 19th annual Shadfest was Shad-less last Sunday.
