Nyack’s Farmer’s Market kicked off another season last week with old friends, new faces and lots of fresh produce.
Located in the Riverspace parking lot, the market features fruits and vegetables, fresh cut flowers, perennials, orchids, pies and baked foods, honey, cheese and bread from local farmers each Thursday from 8a-2p.
The 2010 market will be managed by Dara Falco, the former Managing Director of Riverspace. There will also be a new market event each week according to Nyack Chamber President Carlo Pellegrini. The Nyack Chamber of Commerce has set up an email list you can join for weekly updates of planned activities.
The Nyack Farmer’s Market is open every Thursday through November at 119 Main Street in the parking lot next to Riverspace.
