Art School Dreams

Attention aspiring artists: Get your portfolio in shape for art school submission with an RCC summer workshop. It’s a great way to develop a portfolio of recent artwork for application to art school or college art program. This six week workshop  will focus on figure drawing, painting, collage, mixed media, sculpture, etc.  Projects are designed to enhance the students’ observation skills and creative thinking.  At the end of this session, students will have a number of pieces for their portfolio that reflect their enthusiasm and creative ability and will have acquired skills and knowledge to make the most of their college experience.

The Instructor: Elizabeth Sayles, a professional illustrator and adjunct professor at the School of Visual Arts, NYC and SUNY/Rockland will be the instructor for this class .

July 1 – Aug 11 – class meets twice weekly for 6 weeks  (12 sessions)
