The freaks came out on Saturday night.
As per usual in its three dozen years of existence, the Nyack Halloween Parde provided plenty of entertainment last weekend, essentially kicking off a long leadup to Halloween night in the Village with a lineup featuring hundreds of inventive costumes, dozens of floats and spooky tableaus.
Presented by the Nyack Chamber of Commerce, and sponsored by Treehouse Cannabis, Audi Nyack, Pride Center of Rockland County, Orange & Rockland E-Mobility, Nyack Ridge, Paws on Main, and the Village of Nyack, the event also included costume contests (for humans and dogs), pumpkin painting, and a flash mob style dance troupe performing Time Warp along the parade route.
Goodness graciously, our spookily sensational photographer Andrea Swenson was there to document all the scenes from Nyack’s famous parade on Saturday, October 24. It’s our latest Photo Shoot! (Scroll down for more photos and a full slideshow.)
