The Montefiore Nyack Hospital Foundation partnered with the Nyack Chamber of Commerce to support breast cancer awareness at the Chamber’s annual Exotic Car Show on Thursday, August 7.
The event kicked off with a parade of spectacular automobiles, each escorting a breast cancer survivor to the event. Donned in pink accessories, these courageous survivors began their ceremonial car ride in the early evening from Montefiore Nyack Hospital, then proceeded down Midland Avenue to Main Street, before entering the show area in downtown Nyack.
Visitors to the show were treated to hundreds of examples of automotive art and engineering from around the world, including a vintage Lamborghini Diablo VT Roadster, a wide variety of rare and exotic Porsches, and late-model Ferraris and McLarens.
The Montefiore Nyack Hospital Foundation shared information about breast cancer awareness and their upcoming event, Rides and Strides, to benefit breast cancer services at the hospital.
Other sponsors included Torrent Motorworks, Hudson Spectacles, The Local Tap House of Nyack, Maura’s Kitchen and Nyack Auto Collision.
