Elmwood Playhouse Speakeasy Gala

Saturday, August 2, 7:00-11:00pm, 10 Park St, Nyack

This unique fundraising event will transform Elmwood Playhouse into a Prohibition-era speakeasy with live music from Duchess and the Duke, free flowing wine, beer, and soft drinks, delicious and abundant cocktail food from Prohibition River, Tarot readings, Burlesque performances, big news about future plans at Elmwood, and Tricky Trays with great prizes. Guests are encouraged to embrace the speakeasy vibe and dress accordingly, but there is no “prohibition” against contemporary party attire. 

You’ll have a great time and you’ll feel great knowing that your ticket purchase supports Elmwood Playhouse. Tickets are $150 and can be purchased here.

Nyack Chamber of Commerce Exotic Car Night

Thursday, August 7, 6:00-9:00pm, Main St, Nyack

Stroll Main Street, Nyack and feast your eyes on the finest examples of automotive art and engineering on the planet.

But you won’t want to race home! End your night by dining at one of Nyack’s many world-class restaurants.

Piece by Piece staring Pharell Williams Screening in Memorial Park

Friday. August 15, 8:15pm, Nyack Memorial Park, 51 Piermont Ave, Nyack

Rivertown Film presents an outdoor screening of Piece by Piece, a biographical film shot through the lens of Lego animation that follows the life and career of Pharrell Williams.The film stars the voices of Gwen Stefani, Kendrick Lamar, Timbaland, Justin Timberlake, Busta Rhymes, Jay-Z, and Snoop Dogg as Lego versions of themselves. The film will be screened in Memorial Park at 8:15pm. The event is free to the public.

Moviegoers should bring blankets or chairs for their comfort.
