Nyack hosts the SeptemberFest street fair on Sunday September 13 from 10a to 5p, rain or shine.
The Chamber of Commerce of the Nyacks will be sponsoring an Eye On Fashion in Nyack hosted by Nyack entertainer Frankie D.
SeptemberFest ushers in the Fall with wonderful vendors from around the Hudson Valley and the NY Metro region. Come see the new format of the fair, new music area, and entertainment by a local circus troupe of teens. Sample delightful food straight from the kitchens of our local restaurants.
Nyack’s Chamber of Commerce street fairs are known far and wide for their combination of merchandise for all tastes and pocketbooks, arts, crafts, food, entertainment and special goings-on, all within the context of the wonderful Village of Nyack, with its own attractions of great shops and restaurants in a charming Victorian setting.
Up to 25,000 people are attracted to the Nyack street fairs, when Main Street and Broadway are closed to traffic, making it a pedestrian paradise. Stroll throughout the village’s downtown and street fair booths. Make a day of it by spending time in Nyack’s Memorial Park by the mighty Hudson River. Take part in the celebration of the 400th anniversary of the exploration of the Hudson, called the Quadricentennial Celebration, which goes on for all of 2009.
The next street fair is scheduled for October 11.
