The Villages: New Mayor at Nyack Village Hall

This week in the villages: A new political era starts in the Village of Nyack as mayor-elect Don Hammond is sworn in. For those looking to give back this holiday season, Upper Nyack and the Town of Clarkstown are organizing drives for various items. One southbound lane of River Road will be closed for most of the workday on Tuesday to facilitate abutment work. Drainage work will require lane closures on the New York State Thruway northbound/westbound at night on Monday and Tuesday.
