The bang of an earthquake woke Putnam and upper Westchester County residents on a recent morning. It was a modest, 2.2 magnitude shake, but any seismic activity in the lower Hudson Valley re-ignites worries among opponents of the Indian Point Energy Center and the AIM Spectra gas pipeline that crosses near it.
